New Photo Blog and College Update

Hey,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm starting a photo blog that's linked through my profile. The next pictures will have a better resolution, I promise!

I haven't officially decided on where I'll be this fall yet, but I have heard back from all eight colleges. Here is a summary of where things are with me:

Pepperdine: ACCEPTED
Almost 100% sure I'm going there in the fall
Waiting for the financial aid package to make the final decision
Already apparently got the most prestigious scholarship they offer

Texas Christian University: ACCEPTED
Probably my second or third choice
Got a really good financial aid package with my tuition completely paid for

Vanderbilt University: ACCEPTED
I won't go there most likely because I most likely won't get a scholarship
Waiting (obviously) for the financial aid info

New York University: ACCEPTED (sort of)
Would have to enroll in the two -year general studies program, but would graduate from NYU
This involves spending entire freshman year in Florence, Italy, learning to speak Italian to bat
Sounds really expensive, and I still haven't gotten the money info

Texas A & M: ACCEPTED
Last resort

University of Oklahoma: ACCEPTED
Other last resort

Abilene Christian University: ACCEPTED
I qualify for half-tuition scholarship, but don't know yet if I got it
None of my family wants me there
Long drive to butt-nowhere, but I can't justify flying
Probably a "no"

Vassar: REJECTED
The reason they gave me was limited space on campus (over 6000 apps for 660 spots apparently)
My grandmother says only rich snobs go there anyway

Thanks for your continual support over this long and tedious process. I'll let everyone know when I send in the official acceptance of admission offer letter!
